Meg continued her
story about Lord Moon. “One day, Lord Moon had a visitor,” she said.
“People said he was a cousin from across the sea. He came with many
soldiers. One night, there was a big feast, and the next morning,
the visitors took over the castle. The cousin became the new ruler
of this land. He is an evil man. His name is Dirk.”
“What happened to Lord Moon?” asked Mandy.
Meg was quiet for a moment. Then she spoke again. “People say
he was killed by Dirk, but no one has seen his body. I think he is
still alive and in the castle.”
